2021 Team Canada side-out performance - use of Bayesian Networks (BN) in volleyball
A simple Bayesian Network was developed using CausalNex to study the side-out performance of Team Canada in Summer 2021
The work spans from marginals querying to do-calculus (interventions). The interventions consisted in changing the reception quality, and see how the side-out attack performance would change.
The data-set consists of 2021 summer national team season (Volleyball Nations League and Tokyo Olympics)
This work was developed with Python in a Jupyter Notebook, using Pandas, scikit-learn, and CausalNex, with Plotly as visualization library.
